- Registered nurse
- Diploma (or working towards)
- Evidence of post qualification specialist study
- Assessor / mentor

- Experience at band 5
- Leading a team and working autonomously

- Experience in working within other areas of nirsing
- Understanding of implications of National Targets, in particular 4hr Emergency department target and relevance to Bed Management
- Understanding of issues around patient flow
