Job Introduction

We are currently seeking an ambitious Bar Manager to lead our team at HMS Belfast, where you will help create exceptional experiences for Restaurant Associates. This is a full-time position, contracted for 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
  • Lead and supervise the bar team, fostering a positive environment where everyone feels welcomed and supported
  • Act as a responsible key holder
  • Oversee weekly bookkeeping and any other necessary duties
  • Produce weekly rotas in accordance with management guidelines
  • Manage stock orders to maintain appropriate inventory levels
  • Delegate tasks as necessary and ensure the team remains proactive
  • Ensure compliance with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
  • Adhere to Health & Safety regulations
  • Provide coverage for the cafĂ© during quieter bar periods or when the bar is closed, ensuring seamless service and customer satisfaction

Who You Are:

Our ideal Bar Manager will have:

  • Previous experience managing frontline teams in a similar environment
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on excellent customer service
  • A team player attitude and a can-do mentality
  • The ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook
