Job Description
We're looking for a creative, proactive, journalistic, and outcome-driven B2B Senior Content Consultant to join Netcompany UK's high-performing marketing team. Based in either London or Leeds and reporting directly to the Head of Marketing UK, this individual will be a part of the team driving forward and executing Netcompany UK's ambitious Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy and plan. This individual will be responsible for conceiving and executing business thought leadership content ideas designed to elevate Netcompany UK's presence across various UK media channels.
Role Description
- Develop, plan, manage, execute, and take responsibility for all B2B thought leadership content designed to elevate Netcompany UK's profile in our core local market verticals - Digital Government, including Healthcare, Defence, Tax & Customs, Private Sector: Transport & Logistics, Manufacturing & Supply Chain - ensuring consistency across all collateral and touchpoints.
- Conceive, draft, publish well-written copy, strong narratives and media opportunities for our Executive and Senior Leadership teams on time and to budget, working in tandem with our PR Agency, that will be driven internally and externally through various channels.
- Create, maintain and project manage a content creation calendar, including cross-functional pitches and briefings, interview scheduling, deadline setting, in collaboration with the UK Managing Partner, Head of Marketing UK, and UK GTM Sector Leads.
- Capitalise on newsworthy and value-led trends to maximise the reach of marketing content (social media savvy required) and use data to inform the effectiveness of content, drive continuous improvement and increased engagement.
- Create high-impact and value proposition-led collateral, such as sales brochures, core presentations, and other USP-based tools.
- Analyse and co-develop local market and sector trend reports, as well as competitor and prospects landscapes, to help better inform our strategy, product positioning, and campaign prioritisation.
- Brief and manage external writers alongside the Head of Marketing UK and work side-by-side with the UK Field Marketer, Events Senior Consultant and Digital Marketer to coordinate complementary campaigns alongside UK events, conferences, roundtables, and other Field activities and to support onsite if needed.
Qualifications
- Excellent editorial writing and a passion for delivering B2B story-led narratives: Strong, exciting, and value-led copywriting, clear written and verbal communication and impeccable face-to-face and phone manner are must-haves, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
- A balance of editorial, creativity, and attention-to-detail: This role will need flexibility in the creation of written articles, reports, collateral as well as visual-led content, such as videos, artwork and in-person presentations.
- Commercial mind combined with strong management skills: Connect the stories within the business to co-develop and support the UK's business narrative, effectively manage stakeholders, projects, and budgets, and be extraordinarily organised, driven, and adaptable.
- Fast-paced problem-solver: Work in a fast-paced, "all-hands-on-deck", team environment.
- Self-starter with an eye for market trends: This role requires proactive pitching, creation and management of projects, as well as management of external writers.
- Tech-savvy with good business acumen: Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft365, project management platforms (Notion), CRM, CMS, Teams and experience in driving forward the sales cycle, marketing funnel, customer journey, combined with an outcome-driven attitude.
As this role requires consistent C-level interactions, the ideal candidate must have at least 5 years permanent and relevant work experience within B2B content creation, and/or have a proven success in working within an established media publication in the UK.
Additional Information
Additional Requirements:
- Must be reliable and flexible.
- Hours of work will be between 08:00 - 18:00, with an 8-hour working day staggered across the 10-hour timeframe.
