Caxton is hiring for a B2B Partnerships Manager to help bring new International Payment and API partners to the business and nurture the potential from our existing referral and strategic Partners.

Reporting into the Head of Partnerships and working closely with the Chief Revenue Officer, Marketing and client facing teams, this is a role for someone relationship focused, who understands the importance of people and referrals in business. The successful candidate joins following on a period of rapid growth and will benefit from firm foundations laid down by a Strategic partnership consultant. You'll be part of a high performing function whose focus is to create a trusted business network and a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and management.

As a Partnerships Manager, you'll identify and source partnership opportunities through strategic outbound lead generation and enjoy building relations by picking up the phone calls and attending networking events and client visits.

If you want to succeed in this role, you must be revenue focused, highly numerical, focused on delivering on KPIs aligned to wider company strategy, and ensure that partnership activities undertaken are tested, measured, and reported on accordingly. Reporting and insights will also form a key focus for your role.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Research partners according to the strategy and identify key stakeholders to generate new leads.
  • Show initiative to identify partnership opportunities through new connections, your own existing relationships and Caxton's existing client base.
  • Collaborate with all departments to align our strategic goals with new and existing partner relationships with revenue front of mind.
  • Negotiate and finalise mutually beneficial contracts in accordance with company's contract guidelines and policies.
  • Deliver a great experience to our partners when working within our organisation - you will represent our brand and be our partners' liaison internally. Be memorable, charismatic and above all deliver against expectations.

Requirements

  • Sharp mind able to spot opportunities and act upon them
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of pipeline management and how to build and maintain relationships or relevant partnerships and relationship management
  • Self-starter, with initiative and the ability to prioritise workload and effectively manage multiple opportunities and partnerships
  • Experience of generating new business
  • Knowledge of account management
  • Ability to problem solve and work well both independently and collaboratively
  • Highly confident and adept at networking and using events as a means for lead generation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and collaboration skills
  • Experience working in Tech, Financial Services, Wealth Management or Professional Services desirable but not essential
