Project description

One of the biggest UK rail network companies operating with rail infrastructure and asset management has a need to develop and support enterprise-level information systems.

Responsibilities

Deliver outcomes & deliverables based on IT Delivery lifecycle which include but are not limited to the following:

Define architecture and technical requirements for foundational components in the Azure platform.

Work with customers and partner teams to identify and prioritize maintenance, change management, deployment, and operations-centric scenarios.

Lead product planning for E2E scenarios related to the above areas.

Define KPIs and establish and execute plans for improving those KPIs.

Partner with software engineers on scenario design, product roadmap, and incremental delivery, to jointly deliver core capabilities that help drive improvements to Azure overall operational excellence.

Drive broad cross-team technical issues and customer experiences.

Present to customers, and use customer and partner feedback to continuously improve the product and the technology.

The Azure programme manager is to have previous experience running complex programmes in Azure cloud environments and be able to translate that knowledge to work alongside and support existing organisation resources operating in that domain.
