Our Head Office Logistics Strategy Department is looking for a confident, ambitious, and analytical Logistics Automation Consultant to drive the development and implementation of automation solutions within our logistics network. You will focus on optimising warehouse processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring seamless integration of new technologies into our logistics operations.

What you'll do
- Assess, design, and implement automation solutions in logistics and warehouse operations.
- Lead projects related to warehouse automation, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to evaluate new technologies, including automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) and robotics.
- Identify and analyse inefficiencies in current logistics processes and propose automation improvements.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate solutions with existing supply chain systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new automation initiatives.
- Provide training and support to operational teams on automation systems and best practices.
- Monitor and analyse the performance of automation solutions, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders throughout the entire project lifecycle, from concept development and design to construction and implementation, ensuring alignment and effective communication across all parties involved.
What you'll need
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse automation.
- Knowledge of automation technologies or a keenness to learn.
- Experience in project management, preferably within an automated logistics or retail environment.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external technology providers.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
