Description

DPC is looking for an organised, proactive Audit Senior to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys leading audits on client engagements, solving accounting challenges, and working closely with both clients and colleagues. You'll take responsibility for day-to-day audit work, supervise junior staff, and ensure high-quality delivery while continuing to develop your career in audit and assurance.

Key Responsibilities

Execute and manage audit fieldwork for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Plan and perform audit testing, identify risks, and document findings.

Supervise and guide junior staff, providing coaching and reviewing their work.

Prepare clear and concise audit reports, highlighting issues and recommendations to clients.

Liaise with clients, answering queries and providing professional advice.

Ensure all work complies with auditing standards, regulations, and internal quality requirements.

Support process improvements within the audit team and contribute to efficiency initiatives.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Fully qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA) with strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.

Previous audit experience, ideally with exposure to a range of clients and industries.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work.

Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.

Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with clients and supervising junior staff.

Proactive, solution-focused, and professional attitude.

Ability to mentor and support junior colleagues effectively.
