Salary - competitive dependant on experience

Hours - Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week with flexible, hybrid working - following successful completion of probation period

Holiday - 20 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) rising to 25 days once qualified

About the Audit Semi Senior role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Audit Semi Senior in our Lewes office.

Reporting to an Audit Manager, you will be working alongside seniors to conduct company audits from planning through to completion.

Key responsibilities of an Audit Semi Senior will include:

  • undertake non-audit assignments including accounts preparation and tax computations
  • working within an audit team, you will assist in various stages of the audit process - conducting work for some of the South East's leading businesses, many of whom have an international footprint
  • involvement in planning the audit process, conducting fieldwork, reaching judgements on client procedures and approaches, and making recommendations
  • maintain audit quality standards as required by Audit Regulations and TC internal policies
  • you will aid junior team members by reviewing, motivating and developing them by providing training and support

About you -

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • working towards ACA / ACCA
  • minimum 1 years' relevant external audit experience within practice
  • excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • familiar with accounting software including Sage and Xero
  • previous use of CCH and Caseware would be an advantage
  • team player with a strong work ethic and drive
  • highly personable with excellent communication skills and presentation
  • ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines
  • to progress rapidly and to take on roles with greater management responsibility within a short period of time
