Due to continued growth and expansion across Hampshire, we're seeking a proactive and established Audit Manager to support the firm's continued success and growth in Portsmouth, Southampton and the wider-Hampshire area.
This is a new and exciting role that offers great development opportunities as well as playing a key role in establishing our audit offering within the area.
The Role
Based within the Hampshire area, predominantly between Portsmouth and Southampton offices, this newly created role will play a key part in growing our regional footprint, you will take on a portfolio of existing clients, with opportunity to grow this further as we continue to establish ourselves within the Hampshire area.
We're looking for someone comfortable leading their own engagements, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining strong client relationships. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a first-class service to clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
- Conduct all work in an ethical, professional manner in line with relevant professional standards and regulations.
- Proactively maintain and strengthen client relationships within your portfolio, while identifying opportunities to develop new business.
- Plan, control, and review audit assignments to ensure delivery is accurate, cost-effective, and timely.
- Manage, supervise, and develop team members on assignments, providing clear feedback and guidance to support professional growth.
- Produce clear, concise, and professional reports on all assignments.
About You
Skills & Experience:
- ACCA or ACA qualified
- Experience using Inflo or similar audit software, confident in working in a fully paperless, digital audit environment.
- Demonstrable ability to plan, manage, and review audit assignments efficiently, meeting deadlines and budgets.
- Proven experience in developing and mentoring staff within an audit team
- Motivated, proactive, and adaptable. You'll be able to thrive in a growing regional team.
- Practical audit experience gained in a similar environment.
- Background in commercial audit work advantageous.
