About The Role
Case Luggage are seeking a professional and motivated Assistant Manager to join their team. The role of Assistant Manager is to manage a small team (on average 2-3, up to 5 staff members maximum) to drive sales productivity, efficiency, and customer service levels of the store. You would manage the sales performance of the store/concession and staff productivity level. Another part of the role is to support, manage and develop the Supervisor.
As Assistant Manager your key responsibilities would include:
- Supporting the Store Manager in managing and inspiring your team to be at their best, and stepping up to cover the store when needed
- Maintaining a strong customer focus consistently, excelling in customer relations, dealing with requests and orders swiftly and efficiently to maximise customer experience
- Ensuring staff are coached, trained, and developed on all the latest products and health & safety
- Achieving and driving company-based targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Administrative duties including staff rotas, updating sales figures, ensuring paperwork and files are maintained
- Carrying out key holder responsibilities, including cashier, banking and store opening and closing procedures
- Having a thorough knowledge of all company/brand guidelines and standards
- Establishing a good understanding of health and safety policies of the store and ensure that staff uphold these policies
- Maintaining all price files, brand profiles, and use these to assist with stock requests and replenishment
- Ensuring all deliveries and stock takes are processed correctly
- Carrying out/assisting in any other duties as requested by the Store Manager, Area Manager or head office
About You
The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 1 years' experience as an Assistant Manager in a retail environment.
In addition, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Numeracy and IT skills
- Leadership skills
- Exceptional customer service and sales focus
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to work well and lead within a team
