Audience Growth Manager

We're looking for an insight driven audience growth manager to support the strategic growth of audience channels across our author portfolio.

In this role you will work with established and newly acquired authors to identify opportunities to grow their audiences on and offline, strengthen communities and support content strategies to aid discoverability.

The role

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the growth of our author audience facing channels and networks
  • Setting and tracking KPIs around growth, engagement and commercial success through competitor analysis and insight
  • Using social listening tools to identify trends, sentiment and cultural moments.
  • Communicate insight into clear actional recommendations and strategies
  • Support new authors in building strong sustainable communities and valuable networks.
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships, cross-promotion and live events
  • Strong collaboration with marketing, publicity, sales and editorial.

    Experience in audience development, digital marketing, community growth or publishing alongside a strong understanding of platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Substack.
  • Confidence and professional experience using social listening tools and turning data into strategy.
  • Natural curiosity and cultural awareness, always spotting emerging trends and opportunities before they peak.
  • A strong communicator and collaborator with experience working with multiple stakeholders.
  • You will balance analytical thinking with creativity, understanding how audience growth translates into commercial success.
  • Organised and adaptable, you thrive in an environment where no two days are the same and you can test and learn to refine approaches.
  • Passionate about storytelling, the evolving digital landscape and helping creators build meaningful, lasting connections with their audiences.

Salary

Circa 40k dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits.

Hybrid working

While our offices across the UK are places to connect, collaborate and celebrate with colleagues, we recognise that flexibility around where you work is just as important. For this role we expect that you'll spend a minimum of two days per week at our Embassy Gardens office (three days in the first three months).
