Job title: Junior Project Manager – IT

What you’ll be doing:
- Project Planning: using the Atlassian toolset, define agree project scope objectives, deliverables and timelines, creating plans with tasks dependencies and resources
- Task Management: Contributing as an active member of the project team, assisting with task coordination, supporting collaboration and communication, and using Atlassian tools to help keep the project on track through its lifecycle
- Stakeholder Engagement: identify project stakeholder, communicate project progress risks and issues, and manage stakeholder relationships
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
- Quality assurance: Ensure quality standards are adhered to throughout the project. Throughout the project conducting regular reviews
- Communication and reporting: Facilitate regular project meetings to review progress, discuss issues, and make decisions. Prepare and distribute project status reports, updates, and other communications to stakeholders
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Experience within an IT environment or qualification at Level 3 within IT discipline
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Desirable:
- Previous project management experience
- Experience using toolsets such as Jira or Confluence

The Atlassian Project Team:
You’ll be joining our Atlassian System Competency Centre: a collaborative team of around 50 people dedicated to delivering high-quality projects that support our organisation’s tools and systems. We operate a buddy system to help new starters settle in quickly and offer both project management (PMDY) and Agile training to support your professional growth. While most of our work is internal, we also partner with external suppliers such as DXC.
