The market leading public sector DWF practice is looking to appoint multiple new procurement experts and is interested in hearing from associates, senior associates, and directors looking to further their career and advise on the leading non-contentious and contentious procurement matters of the day.

About the role

The Public Sector is one of the firm's biggest growth areas over recent years with the firm actively servicing 19 national and regional framework agreements (including CCS RM6179, 6240, Welsh Government, Scottish Government, EmLawshare, LBLA, NEPO and others) which leads to significant sales to public sector bodies in the UK and Strategic Suppliers to Central and Local Government clients.

• offers a significant internal and external training programme for colleagues and clients alike - see link to programme of public sector webinars in 2024;
• hosts regularly training from leading barristers on leading case law updates;
• ensures that articles and Thought Leadership is focussed on the leading issues of interest to our clients;
• operates an internal Procurement Portal (containing an extensive set of procurement precedent documents and advice);
• maximises the quality of our response to requests from our public sector clients and Strategic Suppliers to Central and Local Government.

About you

We are keen to hear from candidates who have a good understanding of public procurement law and are at least 4 years PQE who wish to further develop their procurement expertise within a supportive and positive environment.

What we offer

This role will be a hybrid position with a minimum of 50% of time to be spent in the office and will be based in any of DWF's regional offices (Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, New-Castle).
