Background of department/role
Student Wellbeing and Support is a busy department meeting the needs of all CCCU students. The support offer is broad and varied covering all health conditions, learning differences and groups with protected characteristics.
This role will hold high level responsibility for support delivery across the department, ensuring the service is accountable, meets sector priorities and student need.
We are looking for someone with experience of managing a range of specialist support provision in HE and who has worked in senior roles.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a truly committed service, that has ambitious plans to continue to develop and imbed best practice, removing barriers to ensure students are supported to thrive and succeed at University.
We have a lot of work planned for the year ahead...and beyond.. and are looking for someone who can drive change and manage delivery of complex key projects.
We are looking for someone with drive, passion and experience who can work collaboratively at a high level to ensure delivery of robust and evidence based services for our student community.
You must be able to evidence that you have effectively led high level change projects, have managed complex teams, have strong project management skills, and that you have sound knowledge of student support issues and current sector priorities.
How will you work?
We are committed to supporting flexible methods of working wherever possible. Campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year but must purposefully align to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders. It is expected that there will be a relatively even balance between time spent on and off campus; but in most cases the work location will be determined by the service required or the tasks/activities being undertaken.
The role will involve travel to partner institutions
