JOB DESCRIPTION
The Commercial Manager NI will lead and manage all aspects of the commercial function of the NI business. This will Include developing and operating a clear strategy to drive profitable sales and market share growth. The Commercial Manager NI will play a full and active role In the IOI Management Team and will be the key NI contact for IOI Marketing, Supply Chain, Category Teams and Principal Management functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership for the NI Commercial Team to achieve delivery of company budgets
- Ensure the commercial team build strong relationships with key customers in all channels to aid delivery of the commercial plan across the full brand portfolio
- Maximise margin delivery In line with agreed budgets
- Manage and evaluate all promotional and JBP spend to drive maximum return on Investment
- Work with Supply Chain to positively Influence Demand Planning, Inventory management and customer service levels
- Work with marketing to ensure Implementation of all brand plans, Including targets for availability and visibility, within agreed Investment levels
- Act as the NI point of contact with all Brand Principals
- Manage all department costs In line with agreed budgets
- Manage, motivate, and develop the team through effective communication and performance management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Significant industry experience at a management level
- Commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills
- FMCG experience essential and experience in food and drink an advantage
- A strategic thinker, good at analysis and problem-solving
- A creative thinker with the ability to innovate and 'think outside the box'
- Strong planning, organisation, and leadership skills
- Ability to foster close working relationships
- A resilient self-starter with a result driven, entrepreneurial
- Strong communicator with a proven ability at stakeholder
- Passionate about consumer trends and building brands in the Irish
- High level of IT proficiency: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint &
