Knowledge and experience

Essential criteria

• Experience as a senior manager within an NHS organisation in a performance, informatics or commissiong setting
• Sound knowledge base of the NHS, the current issues, its values and principles of timely local access for the population.
• Experience within an acute hospital setting.
• Exceptionally high level of numeracy and ability in health based statistical modelling
• roven record of leading complex, multifaceted management systems relating to performance and/or planning
• A strategic thinker with highly developed communication and negotiation skills, coupled with commercial acumen
• Demonstrable evidence of working at immediately sub-Board level.
• Significant experience of delivering complex strategic and operational planning data
• Strong networker and relationship builder
• Ability to give formal presentations
• Significant experience of delivering complex strategic and operational planning frameworks
• Demonstrable evidence of managing specialist multi-disciplinary staff as a coherent team
• Strong interpersonal and comms skills

Desirable criteria

• Evidence of leading the development of complex data analytics models.
• Experience of partnership working
• Formal project management training
• Presentation experience

Professional Competance

Essential criteria

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.

Desirable criteria

• Strong organisational skills and experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines. These should pertain to deployment of large data management systems, ideally EPR in a NHS provider setting

Qualifications

Essential criteria

• Masters Degree Level Education or equivalent, gained in a health delivery related subject
• Significant experience in the healthcare sector, minimum 5 years at senior level

Desirable criteria

• PhD or advanced degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or related field
