Knowledge and experience
Essential criteria
- Experience as a senior manager within an NHS organisation in a performance, informatics or commissiong setting
- Sound knowledge base of the NHS, the current issues, its values and principles of timely local access for the population.
- Experience within an acute hospital setting.
- Exceptionally high level of numeracy and ability in health based statistical modelling
- roven record of leading complex, multifaceted management systems relating to performance and/or planning
- A strategic thinker with highly developed communication and negotiation skills, coupled with commercial acumen
- Demonstrable evidence of working at immediately sub-Board level.
- Significant experience of delivering complex strategic and operational planning data
- Strong networker and relationship builder
- Ability to give formal presentations
- Significant experience of delivering complex strategic and operational planning frameworks
- Demonstrable evidence of managing specialist multi-disciplinary staff as a coherent team
- Strong interpersonal and comms skills
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of leading the development of complex data analytics models.
- Experience of partnership working
- Formal project management training
- Presentation experience
Professional Competance
Essential criteria
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Desirable criteria
- Strong organisational skills and experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines. These should pertain to deployment of large data management systems, ideally EPR in a NHS provider setting
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Masters Degree Level Education or equivalent, gained in a health delivery related subject
- Significant experience in the healthcare sector, minimum 5 years at senior level
Desirable criteria
- PhD or advanced degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or related field
