Person specification

Qualifications

Essential criteria

• NMC registered Adult Nurse
• Masters or Equivalent or working towards
• NMC mentorship/practice supervisor/assessor qualification
• Education qualification e.g. PG Cert/Dip
• Leadership qualification or significant managerial experience

Experience

Essential criteria

• Experience of designing and delivering clinical education
• Developing evaluation, RoI, KPIs and impact measures for education and training interventions
• People management experience
• Experience at working in partnership with a range of external organisations and contractors to deliver education programmes
• Experience of leading and delivering change across a large, complex organisation
• Up to date knowledge of current regulatory frameworks for pre- and post-registration training

Desirable criteria

• Experience of commissioning and contract management of external suppliers within the public sector

Skills

Essential criteria

• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in both formal and informal settings
• Excellent project and programme management skills
• Data analysis and presentation
• Open to new ways of working Skills in facilitation and chairing meetings with a range of stakeholder
• Ability to use IT effectively
