Job Description
Turner & Townsend alinea is hiring an Associate Director to join the MEP Real Estate team to support the growing Real Estate sector. The role involves working on a variety of Real Estate projects and masterplans, offering exciting development opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and delegate cost consultant team activities: feasibility estimates, cost planning, contract procurement, tender documentation, tender evaluation, value engineering, commercial awareness, fee generation, dispute resolution, and post-contract management.
- Promote a safe and secure environment, championing the company's culture.
- Lead by example to ensure team engagement.
- Drive performance standards through expert communication and effective use of the performance management process.
- Work on diverse projects requiring evaluation and problem-solving, advising subordinates on technical issues.
- Brief the team on project scope to ensure roles and responsibilities are clear.
- Manage and regulate service delivery to achieve excellence.
Qualifications
- A proven track record of delivering high quality cost management/quantity surveying services within the MEP space
- Professionally qualified (RICS or similar)
- Degree or HNC level qualification
- Ability to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time.
- Experience in delivering MEP elements of work for clients
- Knowledge and contacts within the MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below)
- Utilising digital software for delivery of cost management services
- Commercially astute with good negotiation skills
