Associate Director - Key Clients

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm

Location: Mayfair / Roaming

Salary: Competitive Basic with Bonus scheme

Role Purpose

This role will play a central role in growing Chestertons Key Clients portfolio. The position is responsible for winning new business, deepening existing client relationships, and developing strong stakeholder partnerships. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring every interaction reinforces Chestertons reputation for excellence, integrity, and results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key client segments.
    • Develop tailored proposals and pitches that meet the needs of high-value clients and corporate partners.
    • Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects through networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Serve as one of the main points of contact for allocated key clients, providing proactive, personalised service.
    • Anticipate client needs and ensure seamless delivery of Chestertons' property services.
    • Monitor client satisfaction and take ownership of resolving issues effectively.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g. branch directors, lettings, sales, property management).
    • Partner with external stakeholders including corporate relocation firms, developers, and business partners.
    • Represent Chestertons at client meetings, events, and networking forums.
  • Strategy & Reporting
    • Contribute to the Key Clients Team's growth strategy by identifying market trends and opportunities.
    • Track, measure, and report on business development activities and client engagement outcomes.
    • Collaborate with marketing to deliver targeted campaigns for client acquisition and retention.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in business development, client relationship management, or stakeholder engagement (property sector essential).
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • High level of professionalism with the ability to build trust with senior-level clients and partners.
  • Well-organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of London property market (advantageous).
