Associate Director, Equity Raising
Role Purpose
Equity Raising is a core component of the Corporate Finance offering within the Investment Banking division of CBRE. The team offers some of the most comprehensive real estate equity raising services in EMEA.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director to join this growing and successful business in London. The role requires the ability to work in a team environment, evidencing strong communication skills and having an excellent understanding of financial modelling. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a busy workload and have excellent written and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing financial models providing detailed financial analysis across all sectors of the real estate market
- Preparing market leading collateral and financing memorandums
- Assisting on the documentation, transaction and execution process
- Leading meetings with our clients to provide updates on progress
- Proactively manage all client follow up and information requests
- Research and update team on relevant sector news
- Act in accordance with our values at all times.
Person Specification/Requirements:
- A strong academic background with bachelors or post-graduate degree preferably with a specialisation in real estate and/or finance
- Strong cash flow modelling skills
- Excellent, clear and concise communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Transactional/project experience, ideally in the real estate sector
- Enjoys working under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Self-motivated while working as part of an energetic and enthusiastic team
- Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met
- Accurate and exceptional attention to detail
