Description

We are seeking an experienced Client Delivery Lead to own the successful delivery of a portfolio of cyber security projects and services on behalf of NCC Group.

The role will focus on establishing and strengthening strategic client relationships with a select number of our most complex engagements. Acting as a senior leader within the organisation, you will play a critical role in shaping delivery outcomes and identifying opportunities for growth, requiring a high level of commercial acumen and strategic insight.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of multiple high-impact initiatives within a fast-paced, regulated industry. The successful candidate will bring at least five years of experience managing complex, cross-functional programmes or services and will be responsible for shaping strategic delivery across our client base.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement

  • Serve as the strategic ambassador for NCC Group delivery, representing our capabilities and value proposition at the highest level.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with senior client stakeholders, ensuring alignment of deliverables with business objectives, compliance requirements, and long-term strategic goals.
  • Act as a trusted adviser, providing actionable insights and strategic guidance informed by deep industry expertise.
  • Lead the development and delivery of quarterly business reviews (QBRs) that articulate performance, value realisation, and future opportunities for growth.

Programme and Service Delivery

  • Own and govern a diverse portfolio of IT and cyber security programmes and services, ensuring delivery excellence across scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Design and implement strategic roadmaps that enable clients to achieve their business and security objectives.
  • Oversee and align interdependencies across concurrent initiatives, driving cohesion and ensuring outcomes contribute to the client's overarching strategy.

Commercial Responsibility

  • Take full accountability for multi-project financial performance, applying strategic financial judgement to optimise resource allocation and maximise value.
  • Deliver precise forecasting, reporting, and risk analysis tailored to client priorities, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Drive business growth by anticipating client needs and identifying opportunities for incremental revenue, with a focus on establishing sustainable, recurring revenue streams.

4. Governance & Risk Control

  • Implement and enforce governance frameworks that reflect the complexity, regulatory requirements, and strategic importance of client engagements.
  • Proactively identify portfolio-level risks and lead mitigation strategies in collaboration with internal teams and external partners, safeguarding delivery and reputation.

5. Influence & Strategic Impact

  • Inspire and empower cross-functional teams through vision, influence, and subject matter leadership, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Provide executive-level updates that clearly articulate programme value, strategic impact, and business outcomes through data-driven insights.
  • Champion and embed NCC Group standards across your portfolio, ensuring predictable, dependable, and high-quality delivery aligned with client and organisational objectives.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Project/programme management and/or service management experience
  • Background in IT or cyber security services or projects with the ability to understand complex technical information and translate this into meaningful insights tailored to suit different audiences
  • Exceptional client management skills, ability to develop relationships and identify opportunities to drive service improvements and incremental revenues
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen; confident interpreting data to drive decision-making across multiple projects
  • Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and guide clients, team members, and stakeholders
  • Agile and resilient mindset; adept at leading change in high-stakes, fast-moving environments

Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and/or cyber security (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are beneficial
