Associate Director, Brand & Talent Marketing - 14-Month Contract

ABOUT THIS ROLE
This position leads content marketing, talent management, and brand development initiatives for Audible UK. The role focuses on orchestrating high-impact marketing campaigns while building relationships with creators and stakeholders across the audio entertainment landscape. The successful candidate will drive awareness and engagement through innovative campaigns, manage talent relationships, and develop social-first strategies that elevate Audible's presence in the entertainment industry.

This role is open on a 14-month contract.

As an Associate Director, Brand & Talent Marketing, you will...
- Devise and deliver high-impact marketing campaigns for key titles from the portfolio, as well as selected brand & social initiatives
- Work with internal local and global stakeholders to consult on how channels could be activated to support their projects (e.g., major content releases, brand campaigns, member communications, etc.) while acting as a social champion to ensure social is brought in early and thoughtfully
- Drive awareness, consideration and listening starts for Audible content, as well as brand love more broadly
- Identify and own social-first initiatives which compliment IP activations driving engagement
- Engage with the Content commissioning team, talent and IP owners on campaign creative strategy, origination and approvals
- Work with the Awareness Media team on paid media strategy for select titles and ensuring title and brand campaigns are given the best opportunity for success
- Brief creative partners and agencies with a view of creating premium assets which position the content as the next "must listen" and reaffirms Audible's credentials within the wider entertainment industry
- Stay close to trends and devising tactical and reactive strategies with our Social Media agency to drive notoriety and impact for Audible titles.
- Work with internal partners and agencies to create insightful and actionable post campaign reporting and analysis that can improve the efficacy and quality of Audible campaigns
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (Marketing teams, Legal, Editorial, Business Affairs, Studios, etc.) on the delivery of quality and timely Original Content assets
- Work with the in-house AV team on the capture of materials where relevant and representing Audible and the Marketing team on shoots, both in-house and on-location

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in a marketing, PR, social or content team with recent experience in a content marketing role that drives measurable results
- Experience of talent and agent liaison
- Experience working with talent desirable
- Campaign management skills across paid, owned and earned
- Experience running social media community management
- Experience working with TikTok and other social platforms with demonstrable campaign successes
- Experience managing agencies or freelance creatives

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- This is not a role where you'll need to create content, but it's helpful if you know your way around Photoshop, and are confident speaking to & directing creatives
- Experience working in digital businesses
- Have a passion for audiobooks, podcasts, or the wider literary world and have the ability to share that passion with others
- An understanding of digital content services (either download to own and/or streaming) would be a bonus
- A 'culture vulture' who is motivated by contributing to the cultural landscape and platforming stories that need to be heard
- Excellent communication skills both in spoken and written English
- Impeccable people skills, both in terms of maintaining internal relationships and fostering external ones
- Have a strong analytical capability and a solid understanding of success metrics
- Have a strong bias for action and ability to get things done
- Excellent organisation and administrative abilities
