About this role:
A prestigious, well-established property management company is seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to take on the role of Associate Director. This role involves managing a small portfolio of luxury residential buildings and overseeing a team of 2 Senior Property Managers, 4 Property Managers (PMs) and two Assistant Property Managers (APMs). The ideal candidate will work closely alongside the Director and play a key role in new business development and operational strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management:
- Manage a small but high-end portfolio of2-4 luxury residential buildings in Knightsbridge, Chelsea, and Mayfair.
- Ensure the highest standards of property management aremaintainedacross all buildings, with an emphasis on service excellence, attention to detail, and tenant satisfaction.
- Oversee day-to-day operations including maintenance, health & safety compliance, building repairs, contractor management, and budget control.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and freeholders to ensure long-term client satisfaction.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of2 Senior PM's, 4Property Managers and 2 Assistant Property Managers.
- Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities for the team.
- Monitor the performance of individual team members and the overall team's effectiveness, conducting regular reviews and mentoring where needed.
- Ensure the team is compliant with industry regulations and best practices, while driving a high standard of professionalism.
- Business Development & Operations:
- Work closely with the Director to support new business opportunities, including attending pitches, preparing proposals, andparticipatingin client meetings.
- Assist with the growth of the portfolio by helping to secure new instructions and fostering long-term client relationships.
- Involvement in operational tasks such as financial reporting, strategic planning, and the implementation of company policies.
- Provide input on the overall direction of the property management division, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a key point of contact for high-net-worth clients and key stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are exceeded.
- Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote the business.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other third parties to ensure the smooth running of all services across the portfolio.
Requirements:
- Experience:Minimum 5-6 years' experience in property management, with a significant focus on prime central London properties. Prior experience managing luxury residential buildings is essential.
- Team Leadership:Proven experience managing and mentoring a team of property managers and assistants.
- Client-Focused:Demonstratedability to work with high-net-worth clients and deliver exceptional service in a high-pressure, luxury environment.
- Qualifications:TPI qualifications preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
