Location: Hybrid working near one of our regional offices, with requirements to travel withing the UK.

About this Role:
Reporting to a Director of Fexco Property Services, this pivotal role will provide strategic and operational leadership for Remus regions across the UK, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality service. The role is accountable for driving customer satisfaction, operational compliance, team support, training and development, while supporting the wider company vision and growth strategy.
The Associate Director will work closely alongside the Director and play a key role in new business development and operational strategy. The role includes involvement in the wider group with a place on the leadership team that brings all the Associate Directors and Directors together to help shape the direction of the business.
Main Duties and Objectives:
- Operational Leadership:
- Lead, manage and mentor six Regional Managers, ensuring alignment to company values, policies and objectives.
- Oversee the delivery of services in line with legislation and Codes of Practice.
- Ensure all blocks under management meet compliance, safety and reporting requirements.
- Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities for the team by driving consistency across all offices, embedding best practice.
- Support the Director to monitor the performance of individual team members and the overall team's effectiveness, conducting regular reviews and mentoring where needed.
- Ensure the team is compliant with industry regulations and best practices, while driving a high standard of professionalism.
- Support and manage FPS strategy into manageable plans with measurable targets, manageable KPIS and overall management of the region's complaints.
- People & Culture
- Foster a culture of accountability and professional development across all regions.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, succession planning and training where required.
- Support recruitment, retention and staff wellbeing.
- Business Development & Operations:
- Work closely with the Director and the Business Development team to support new business opportunities, including attending pitches, preparing proposals, and participating in client meetings.
- Drive the growth of the portfolio by helping to secure new instructions and fostering long-term client relationships.
- Ensure the effective delivery of operational business tasks such as financial reporting, strategic planning, and the implementation of company policies.
- Provide input on the overall direction of the property management division, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a key point of contact for senior people in key clients and key stakeholders on strategic issues.
- Act as escalation point for complex client matters, disputes, complaints or high-profile instructions.
- Represent the brand in client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote the business.
- High level engagement with contractors, suppliers, and other third parties to ensure the smooth running of all services across the portfolio.
Essential Skills:
- Proven leadership experience at Senior Manager/ Associate Director level in residential property management.
- Excellent client-facing and management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability under pressure
- Qualifications: TPI, RICS or equivalent relevant qualifications or experience.
