Job Description

Turner & Townsend is one of the leading UK's leading consultancy providers across infrastructure. Using our skills, processes and knowledge we provide industry leading services to our clients. We are currently looking to take on an Associate Director with proven infrastructure experience to take a lead on major programmes in the Yorkshire region.

Job Objectives:

  • With a breadth of knowledge in all facets of Project Controls; the definition and implementation of client bespoke Project Controls Execution Plans across our major programmes, projects, and portfolios
  • Demonstrated leadership of integrated Project Controls teams, providing guidance, mentoring and support
  • Subject Matter Expertise in one discipline (Planning, Cost Control, Risk, Change, Data & Analytics)
  • An enthusiasm to take an active part in influencing the direction of our regional business, bringing your authentic self, innovative thinking, and motivation to contribute towards the operational management of the Cost Centre and regional business.

Other responsibilities may include but aren't limited to:

  1. Transcending project delivery to problem definition, solution development and service growth
  2. Business Generation through contribution to bids, proposal writing, stakeholder, and resource management
  3. Commission, Client, Line Management
  4. Coaching, mentoring and inspiring positive change

Qualifications

  • Proven experience within the infrastructure sector
  • Relevant APM qualifications and accreditations
  • Project Controls Systems expertise, such as Primavera, @Risk, Safran, Project Online, Tableu, PowerBI, Excel superusers
  • Knowledge of engineering and construction management
  • Sector Specialism, especially in Rail, Water and the Environment, Defence, Nuclear
  • PMO experience
  • Contracts knowledge
  • Experience of Microsoft Dynamics (D365)
  • Skilled in oral and written communication
  • Autonomous worker but a team player.
