Reimagine the possibilities.

Your role and responsibilities

As an Associate Delivery Manager, you'll design, test and deliver small digital solutions, and support Delivery Managers on larger projects. You'll work closely with service teams, users and partners to turn needs into practical, user-focused digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deliver digital solutions using agile approaches.
  • Support the Delivery Manager with project tasks relating to their digital deliveries.
  • Map existing customer journeys to make improvements.
  • Plan and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions.
  • Provide guidance within the organisation about digital tools and processes.
  • Act on user feedback and maintain high-quality delivery standards.

You will need

  • Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • A customer-focused, collaborative approach aligned with our WE ASPIRE values.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders, communicate clearly and support colleagues.
  • Experience of developing digital solutions using low-code tools (or willingness to learn).
  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.

You can view a full list of requirements in the Job and Person Profile (Word). If you think this role could be a great fit for you, we'd love to hear from you - even if you don't meet every single requirement. While certain skills and experience are helpful, your willingness to learn, grow, and collaborate with the team matters even more. The technical elements can be taught, so please don't let a gap in knowledge discourage you. We'd genuinely welcome the opportunity to review your application.

The team

This role sits within the Digital Service Delivery Team, a specialist function within the Customer Experience and Digital service. The team is responsible for the end-to-end delivery, management and ongoing development of public-facing digital services.

Why join us?

This role offers a great opportunity to develop your digital delivery skills and contribute directly to improving online services across the council. You'll work in a supportive team that values collaboration, user-focused design and continuous improvement. It's a chance to broaden your experience, build strong relationships with services across the organisation and play an active part in shaping how we deliver digital solutions for Suffolk residents.
