As an Associate - Debt Capital Markets you will be part of a team of 7 DCM professionals. You will sit within the broader Treasury team which is responsible for maintaining the liquidity and funding for the Together Group. Debt Capital Market is a dynamic, fast paced team where both creative and critical thinking are valued and a \"can do attitude is essential\".
As an Associate - Debt Capital Markets you will be:
- Supporting the DCM Directors in raising new funding vehicles and refinancing existing deals
- Working as part of a dynamic team, juggling multiple priorities
- Taking ownership of material components of projects which are critical to the delivery of funding transactions
- Inputting into the drafting, negotiation and review of the suite of legal documentation that underpins the funding vehicles, working closely with internal and external lawyers
- Ensuring operational aspects of financing activities are understood by the relevant teams within Treasury and the wider business
- Continuing to build knowledge and expertise in complex areas of finance and capital markets
- Preparing materials and agendas for meetings with internal stakeholders, external investors, rating agencies, investment banks etc taking the lead on various aspects of the sessions
- Required to travel occasionally to attend conferences and external meetings as needed as the role develops
Qualifications
Essential:
- At least 5 years' experience in a finance/analytical role with some exposure to Securitisation
- A relevant University Degree in a business, finance or STEM field is preferred, but not essential with the right work experience.
- Qualified/Part Qualified in a professional qualification is preferred but not essential. A variety of professional qualifications can be considered and supported as the role progresses
- Knowledge of finance, markets, mortgages and/or securitisation is required. The right attitude and mindset, alongside a strong desire to continue to learn and grow professionally is also essential.
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
