We have an exciting opportunity to join Foster Wales Newport as an Assistant Team Manager in a full-time permanent position.
We recruit and support fostering carers to provide loving and secure homes for the children they care for and are proud to say we place most of our children with our foster carers.
As Assistant Team Manager, you will take a lead in the recruitment of foster carers and be given the opportunity to work on a local, regional, and national level with Foster Wales.
We have a dynamic service, which responds to the needs of our Children's Services team, as Assistant Team Manager you will contribute and implement service development with the support of the team.
You will also have a small caseload of foster carers to supervise and support.
You will be supported in your role with regular supervision, training, and opportunities to learn from other colleagues.
This is an ideal opportunity to develop your skills in direct work with foster carers and build your knowledge of therapeutic approaches to understanding children and the impact of early trauma on attachment and relationships.

You will need to be registered with Social Care Wales.
