Assistant Team Manager | 9437 | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £43,822 to £48,227 per annum | Grade K | Norwich
We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a new Assistant Team Manager within the Adoption and Kinship Support Team. Based at County Hall, the team provides services across Norfolk, offering vital support to children who are adopted or living with kinship carers. In addition, the team oversees post-adoption contact arrangements and ensures that adopted adults have access to their records.
The Assistant Team Manager will work closely with the Team Manager to oversee a large, multi-disciplinary team and the diverse range of work it undertakes.
We are seeking applicants with:
- Experience and knowledge in adoption and kinship care, including an understanding of the impact of developmental trauma on children and families.
- Skills in developing and reviewing support plans tailored to the needs of children and carers.
- Leadership abilities, including supervising colleagues, providing guidance, showing initiative in day-to-day work, and leading on specific projects.
- Commitment to professional development, ensuring the best outcomes for children and families.
- Confidence in presenting complex information to senior management, as the role includes supporting the operation of the Special Guardian Support Panel.
