Assistant Restaurant Manager

£35000 - Depending on experience

We have an exciting opportunity for a budding, ambitious Manager to help us create exceptional food experiences for Restaurant Associates on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will enjoy getting the best out of people, you draw satisfaction from managing, training and supporting your team. You will be providing a professional catering service, ensuring that company standards are maintained and that Client expectations are met.

You will assist the Restaurant Manager to ensure that your location achieves the financial targets agreed with the client in line with your site budget. Working with your General Manager you will monitor the work of all the staff and carry out appraisals, recognise training needs and potential as appropriate.

Who you are:

  • Previous restaurant/retail management experience
  • Food Safety Level 3
  • Proven ability to understand GP
  • Proactive, enthusiastic and hands on approach
  • Shows drive, tenacity and resilience to get things done
  • Ability to demonstrate great organisational skills in a high volume and demanding environment
  • A passion for food and creativity
  • Strong management, development and HR skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to set high standards
