We are looking for an Assistant Regional Manager to embark on an exciting journey, where you'll be immersed in the dynamic world of field team management and client relations. You'll learn to navigate the nuances of our winter gritting services, engaging clients, and fostering strong relationships while ensuring operational excellence.

What you will achieve:

Alongside learning about Ground Control's strategic growth plans and the Winter Maintenance industry you will also:

  • Learn the art of quoting for new winter service sites
  • Assisting in client engagement strategies to expand revenue on existing accounts
  • Collaborating with field teams to bolster their competence and confidence in delivering exceptional service
  • Work towards achieving sales targets and delivery KPIs

Who we are looking for:

For this role you don't need any formal qualifications; we value passion, drive and potential but we are welcoming applications with the following skills:

  • Basic proficiency in Excel
  • Eagerness to delve into multi-site management concepts
  • Possession of a valid driving license
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and master task prioritization and time management techniques

Nice to Have:

  • Curiosity or prior exposure to winter gritting operations
  • Interest in nurturing client relationships or exploring account management
  • Sales acumen or a desire to develop sales skills
