Today we are an independent charity that is responsible for the care and maintenance of a range of buildings and structures, including the most complete sections of the 1907 racetrack, that contributed to this amazing history. Our site is truly special, where history was made - and our challenge is to look after it for future generations to enjoy.

We are currently looking for a Full Time Assistant Property & Estates Manager to assist our Head of Property & Estates to manage the facilities and estate infrastructure of a large visitor attraction and daily management of the Brooklands Museum Estate. Working in a small team the role includes administrative support, compliance management, people leadership and hands on maintenance. You will be focussed on delivering high standards across the site and be part of exploring opportunities to solutions within set budgets and timeframes while being mindful of the potential resilience and future proofing availability when actioning remedials.

You will work closely with a range of different individuals within the Museum including the inhouse maintenance team (for whom you will be responsible for), volunteer teams along with outside contractors as needed so you will need to be able to work well in a team as well as unsupervised.

You will have an appropriate trade qualification, or relevant experience in managing properties & estates along with great team leadership and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload while maintaining a strong attention to detail. You will possess a positive approach and a 'can do' attitude with a willingness to be flexible and 'get stuck in' as needed.
