Technical Engineering Support (TES) is an engineering company created over 30 years ago, specializing in the coordination of tests and industrial commissioning. TES also supports its customers in participating in studies and coordinating the assembly of industrial equipment.

As part of our activity, we have a position to fill as Assistant Project Manager sector nuclear (m/f) to integrate the EPR2 Hinkley-Point U.K. project.

As an Assistant Project Manager (APM) within the HPC Project Directorate, you will play a critical role in the UK's most significant energy infrastructure project. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full life-cycle delivery of major contracts, ensuring that engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning milestones are met within a highly complex, multi-disciplinary environment.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Operational Delivery: Support the Project Manager in overseeing the execution of work packages in accordance with safety, quality, time, and cost parameters.
  • Project Controls: Assist in applying Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and delivering the List of Deliverables (LOD).
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a key interface between internal teams (Commercial, Engineering, Construction, Safety) and external statutory stakeholders (e.g., ONR).
  • Governance & Reporting: Prepare critical documentation, budget justifications, and detailed schedules for the NNB HPC Project Board and regulatory meetings.
  • Document Control: Maintain a full, auditable archive of project decisions and evolution history.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills, able to communicate effectively and interact with senior managers.
  • People management skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence and work collaboratively within complex, internal and external, multidisciplinary groups.
  • Ability to display and communicate a logical thought process, with excellent analytical skills, including capabilities for budget analysis and forecasting.
  • Ability to cope well under pressure and within tight timeframes.
  • Undertake individual working to a high level of attention to detail.
  • May have (but not essential) a Degree or similar qualification in engineering, construction or related field.
