Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

Salary: From £40,748, depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assisting the Project Leader to define and implement Engineering Change Requests (ECR’s) on Dreadnought
  • Liaising with Planning, Build and Test & Commissioning to ensure data integrity for data metric reporting
  • Providing detailed updates on ECR’s linked to key milestones so they can be escalated quickly
  • Managing contracted deliverables and obtaining sign-off with the customer
  • Collaborating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Undertaking cross training on all Acceptance use

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Demonstrable Project Management experience
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience

Desirable:

  • Understanding of Configuration Control and Acceptance
  • Recognised Project Management qualification (e.g. APMQ or Prince2) or willingness to work towards

The Acceptance team:

This is a rare chance to be part of the exclusive team specializing in this work for the programme. You’ll take on an active role during the Submarine’s launch and provide essential support throughout the sea trials. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
