This role can be based out of one of two locations, Chesterfield, Future Walk or Stockport, Highbank House

You will be required to work in the office two days per week.

About the Role

Reporting into the Senior Procurement Manager you will develop and implement effective sourcing strategies and plans for goods and services within the Facilities Management category team to deliver first class value for the business and protect it from risk.

You will support the Senior Procurement Manager and the Procurement Manager in the account management of internal customers in the business areas serviced by the category - aiding understanding of their business drivers and needs in the context of the company strategy, recommending how they can be most effectively met.

You will contribute to the development and implementation of strategy for the goods and services category in order to meet internal customers' needs, provide savings and to manage risk.

You will work collaboratively with other members of the procurement team to make most effective use of the resources available across the procurement functions and ensure the maintenance of accurate and complete electronic records.

About You
To truly excel in this role, you will possess, and be able to evidence, the skills and experience listed below:

• Background in a supply chain related area (preferably in the FM Category).
• Strong analytical skills
• Capable of building sourcing strategies and gaining buy-in to their implementation.
• Experience of program & change management.
• Experience in creating innovative solutions relating to supplier spend.
• Good communication skills with demonstrable ability to engage confidently with business customers and suppliers.
• Studying towards the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS) or willing to.
