Are you ready to support investment managers in delivering exceptional portfolio management services to our valued clients? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team in the role of Portfolio Management Assistant. As a crucial support to our investment managers, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of service and achieving the best outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with investment managers to manage portfolios for a wide range of clients, tailoring strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of investment models, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
  • Conduct regular reviews of client portfolios to ensure ongoing suitability of investments.
  • Facilitate prompt and efficient client communications and action any necessary tasks.
  • Contribute to the creation of investment proposals and schemes for new clients.
  • Monitor and address outliers in client portfolios, providing explanations as needed.
  • Provide rationales for transactions and trades on client accounts.
  • Stay informed about market developments and share key information with the team to optimize investment decisions.
  • Deliver regular commentary on economic, market, and fund updates to team members.
  • Assist in maintaining due diligence documentation for investment solutions.
  • Support quarterly reporting to clients and maximize the utilization of tax allowances.
  • Provide administrative support as required and represent our firm at events and meetings.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Fully RDR compliant, ideally with or working towards CISI Level 4 or equivalent.
  • Experience in portfolio management for private clients, with exposure to investment research and asset allocation.
  • Strong understanding of financial services organizations and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Independent, reliable, and highly motivated with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to operate with a business-focused approach and maintain personal integrity.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and financial data systems.
  • Resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
