Demand for security vetted staff across the business has grown significantly, consequently DBS are accountable for the ongoing aftercare requirements of all staff.
You will be supporting personnel security capabilities within the vetting team - day to day activities will include national security vetting applications & case management, security clearance data assurance and aftercare management, validating and preparing vetting reports for public sector engagements, amongst many other responsibilities.
You will also be supporting the Security Lead with onsite security operations, assurance, and administration.

- Supporting the firm's UK Security Vetting (UKSV) function.
- Processing security vetting applications at all levels which requires onsite presence.
- Supporting the vetting mailbox, UKSV queries and issue resolution.
- Promote awareness of the latest HMG and Deloitte security requirements, conduct security education and culture training, including induction, continuation training and off-boarding.
- Support delivery of security operations in the areas of physical, material, document, personnel, and information security.
- Implementing policies and processes in accordance with corporate governance in relation to security, providing reports clearly defining outcomes and recommendations.
- Supporting vetting case management and aftercare.
- Managing access control lists, monthly leaver processing, production of security clearance reports for scheduling teams.

Essentials:
- A resident of the UK for the past 10 years.
- Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. Further details about DV and the checks involved can be found here: National security vetting: clearance levels - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk).
- Knowledge of background screening such as Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or equivalent.
- Knowledge of National Security Vetting / UKSV preferred but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills and be a capable facilitator.
- A proactive, keen and flexible approach with high level of motivation and commitment.
- Confidence in dealing with senior individuals in and beyond the firm, and tenacity in following up and getting things done.
- Sensitive to the need for confidentiality, discretion, tact and integrity.
- Appreciation of data and information security.
