Location: Horley, Essex, RH6 9DQ
Hours: Full-time 40 hours per week (Monday to Sunday, rota basis)
Pay: £13.71 per hour
About the Service
Springfield is a 6-bed supported living service supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and epilepsy. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills and achieve their personal goals.
People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including swimming, baking, cooking and shopping helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.
About the Role
As a Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in leading and coordinating a team to deliver safe, effective and high-quality care. You'll support the manager and act as a role model, always ensuring best practice and a positive team culture.
You'll:
- Promote independence and help individuals achieve personal goals
- Ensure high-quality, person-centred care is consistently delivered
- Support with care planning, risk assessments and compliance
- Provide personal care and support with health and wellbeing
- Monitor quality, safety and regulatory standards

What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Understanding of learning disabilities, autism, ABI or mental health needs
- Knowledge of person-centred care and safeguarding practices
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A positive, resilient and proactive approach
- Passion for delivering high-quality care and leading by example
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Social Care
- Experience with electronic care planning or rostering systems
- Understanding of CQC and regulatory requirements
