Job Description
We're seeking a talented individual to join our Restructuring & Recovery Services team in London, which provide advice and assistance to all types of businesses and organisations encountering financial difficulties. Our clients include company boards, owners and shareholders, lenders, borrowers, customers, employees and other individual creditors and, in many cases, we act as a bridge between key stakeholders to enable viable practical solutions.
As manager, your responsibilities will include among others
- Maintain a portfolio of insolvency cases, and ensure cases are efficiently and proactively progressed
- Liaison with office-holder and other case staff to ensure all are kept up to date with relevant issues
- Ensure junior staff are briefed and motivated to complete cases efficiently
- Review junior staff work and comment constructively on their performance
- Provide training to junior staff through on-the-job experience
- Ensure all work is reviewed and that files and completed to a state suitable for review. This included reviewing statutory aspects for compliance with insolvency regulations and relevant standards
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should
- Experienced of corporate insolvencies - particularly administrations and liquidations
- Have a good working knowledge of insolvency rules and statutory requirements
- Ability to adapt to new procedures and situations and operate in a fast-moving environment is advantageous
- Able to work on several different assignments at one time
- Ideally, CPI-qualified
