Location: Horley, Surrey, RH6 9DQ
Shifts: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday-Sunday on a rota basis)
Pay: £13.50 per hour

Please note: A full UK driving licence is required for this role.

This role will be working within a 6 bedroom Supported Living service, that is close to Horley centre. The people we support enjoy a wide range of activities and are supported to create a plan that suits their own interests.

The Role

As an Assistant Manager, you will support the people who use our services while leading and motivating a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. You will play a key role in creating a positive home environment and ensuring excellent standards of care and support are maintained.

This role includes:

  • Managing colleague rotas and supporting with absence management
  • Leading and guiding support workers on shift
  • Taking the people we support out for activities and day opportunities
  • Office-based responsibilities, including assisting the manager with administrative duties
  • Checking and maintaining care plans, medication records, and ensuring quality and compliance standards are met
  • Work closely with recruitment and onboarding team to support the hiring of new staff members

What You'll Need

  • Experience leading or supervising a care team
  • Level 2 in Adult Care (or working towards it)
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • A genuine passion for making a meaningful impact
