368 is Deloitte's internal creative agency, providing a range of marketing services including strategy, creative, production, and channel activation. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic candidate to join our 368 agency team as a Creative Planner, which will be a key role as we continue to evolve the agency. This is a great opportunity to be at the forefront of the agency as we shift from delivery partner to strategic partner and look to develop our award-winning creative offering even further.

Reporting into the Executive Creative Director, the purpose of the role is to champion an external perspective to develop insight-led and breakthrough creative strategies. You will work in partnership with marketers and the Marketing Excellence team, working with them to understand project objectives and developing the creative brief and approach, messaging, and engagement strategies to connect with their audiences & differentiate Deloitte. You will champion the use of best practices and using multiple sources to provide insights and tell stories.

In 368, we use creativity to develop impactful strategies that distinguish our brand and drive the effectiveness of our marketing. As such, we need you to bring creativity to the way you approach creative & communications strategy and be equally comfortable working with digital channel experts, creative teams, and marketing strategists. You will have high standards for creating differentiated & effective work, and a passion to constructively challenge and inspire our internal clients with a digital-first and an outside-in approach.

  • Champion the use of insights to better understand our audiences and develop effective creative and communication strategies that positively impact our brand and drive results for our business
  • Pro-actively provide fresh perspectives & a healthy dose of challenge to our current way of working, and the key insights that lead to meaningful and differentiated creative work
  • Actively contribute to improving our creative product through creative brief excellence and productive challenge
  • Starting with the Stakeholder brief, and working closely with the ECD, run workshops to define creative strategies and approach
  • Lead, upskill and develop the CMT and Account Leads in particular to support creative strategy and creative brief writing
  • Develop the CMT team's ability to conduct competitive, client and audience research and distill the salient points into actionable guidance
  • Partner with Creatives to establish and embed a working model for collaboration
  • Build out our understanding of our B2B audiences and how they make decisions so that we can better align our creative strategies to their behaviours and motivations
  • Encourage the creation of learning agendas as a fundamental part of campaign strategies
  • Build strong relationships with the Channel owners to drive a connected experience for clients

Connect to your skills and professional experience

  • Experience as an agency Account Planner/Strategist
  • Comfortable conducting and interpreting client, competitive, and market analysis, digital trends & behavioral data, and conducting primary research & interviews
  • Passionate advocate of using analytics to inform creative and communications strategy
  • Bring specialist knowledge and a new perspective to the organisation
  • Champion the 'outside in' approach
  • Credible understanding of the broader marketing mix, including digital channels
  • Demonstration of convincing rapport with Creative at all levels, and the ability to inspire and influence ideas through strong partnerships, insightful research and inspirational brief writing to create award-winning work
  • Excellent stakeholder management, confident and comfortable working with people at all levels
  • Someone who can handle pressure, with multiple priorities and deadlines with a smile
  • The imagination to understand the Deloitte brand and how to elevate it
  • B2B and especially Professional Services experience desirable
  • Experience developing compelling presentations and success presenting to clients, stakeholders and senior management including Partner level

We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm). You'll be based in Leeds with hybrid working. Our hybrid model enables our people to collaborate, connect and innovate in both a virtual and physical capacity.
