As an Associate Director in the Financial Industry EPM team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our clients' businesses. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead complex engagements, cultivate strong client relationships, drive business development, and mentor a high-performing team. You will leverage your deep industry expertise and consulting acumen to deliver impactful solutions that address critical financial and technological challenges faced by Banking & Capital Markets organisations .
You will be passionate about delivering an impact that matters to our clients by delivering solutions that provide the right information, at the right time, to run their businesses.
You will be responsible for :
- Client Delivery : Architect and lead complex finance transformation programmes that solve the most pressing challenges for our BCM clients. This involves acting as the subject matter expert on:
- Enterprise-wide Connected Planning : Design and implement planning frameworks that break down functional silos. Drive connectivity across Treasury (funding), Risk (capital), and Finance, as well as into business operations, partnering with the COO (operational resilience planning) and CTO ( programme portfolio/ITFM planning).
- Advanced Analytics & Strategic Modelling : Develop sophisticated models for critical banking challenges, including full lifecycle profitability analysis, cohort analysis for product profitability, customer behavioural modelling, and Net Interest Income (NII) forecasting.
- Regulatory & Resilience Planning : Lead engagements focused on enhancing models and processes underpinning regulatory submissions, including ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP), and Operational Resilience frameworks .
- Strategic Performance Management : Connect strategy to execution by designing and implementing frameworks like the Balanced Scorecard, defining strategic KPIs, and embedding them within the planning and reporting cycle.
- Market Leadership & Practice Growth : Act as a senior leader for our BCM Finance Transformation practice, with a focus on strategic growth and capability building:
- Become a trusted advisor to client-side Heads of FP&A, Divisional CFOs, COOs, and CTOs, acting as their go-to expert on market trends, best practices, and transformational solutions.
- Lead and support the development of compelling proposals, pitches, and thought leadership pieces.
- Mentor, coach, and develop junior consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning, high performance, and professional growth.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support career progression for team members.

You will demonstrate :
Essential:
- A proven track record of selling and delivering finance transformation projects within a leading consulting firm.
- Deep industry expertise and established credibility within the Banking & Capital Markets sector.
- Hands-on experience with the design and implementation of leading EPM solutions (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle EPM, OneStream, Pigment).
- Extensive experience delivering large, complex EPM transformation programmes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Strong project management capabilities, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Excellent client relationship management skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and influence senior stakeholders.
- Developing talent within the team through mentoring, coaching, and knowledge & experience sharing.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Career foundation established within an in-house FP&A or finance business partnering role within a financial institution
Desirable:
- Understanding of ESG frameworks and/or ESG Reporting Standards.
- Past hands-on experience in the configuration and technical implementation of EPM tools.
- Experience of managing teams using offshore and/or near-shore resources.
- Certification in leading EPM solutions (e.g., Oracle EPM, Anaplan, OneStream)
