Position

We are looking for a caring, Assistant House Manager to join the Care Team at Henshaws College. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Care worker to further develop their skillset whilst contributing to our cause of helping our students go beyond expectations.

Supporting management of a team of SEN Care Support Workers to provide a safe, effective, responsive, caring and well-led service that focuses on a person-centered approach to meet the care and learning needs of our student. You will oversee our pathways programme and you will ensure that the students have accurate Quality of Life plans, risk assessments and you will work with colleagues across college to ensure that there is a holistic approach to the students support. Day to Day the role is to support the House Manager to ensure the effective running of the service and support of the staff.

Salary: £13.58 per hour weekdays/£15.08 per hour weekend

Hours per week: 22.5

Weeks per year: 39

Holiday: 6.81 weeks

Requirements

You'll be an experienced Care Worker within the care industry.

Hold a Diploma in Health and Social care level 2 and a willingness to work towards level 3 within two years.

Willingness to support students in a way that promotes their independence and development.

You're a flexible worker to meet the needs of our students and business objectives.

You're a keen advocate for continuous learning and development within your role.
