Pool HayesAcademy are looking to appoint a motivated, independent, and hardworkingindividual to fill the post of Assistant Head of Year. This is a non-teaching role. The successful candidate must demonstrate aproactive interest in education and a desire to support the school in achievingthe best possible outcomes for all students.
The purpose of this role is to enable everystudent to fulfil their potential as individual learners, effective citizensand well-rounded individuals. The AssistantHead of Year will lead a team of tutors and influence all staff, as well asparents/carers and all stake holders, in raising aspiration and improvingoutcomes for all.
The ideal candidate will havea good basic education to GCSE level (to include English and Maths), havecompleted relevant courses such as coaching/mentoring/study support and previouslyworked with young people. You will be anambitious professional and will join an academy which is dynamic and inspiring,creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students.
