The Role:

We are looking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic leader to join the Head of Faculty in continuing the success and growth of our popular Maths department. Our new colleague will know how to effectively inspire and manage staff, students and the curriculum to ensure an exceptional experience for students and secure outstanding outcomes for all, especially those that need us even more. You will have a proven record of raising attainment and accelerating progress. Your previous experience as a leader is less important to us than your clear vision on what can be achieved for our students and your team of committed and dedicated staff as well as your ability to motivate and inspire. In addition to your subject specialism, the exact responsibilities for the role will be agreed on appointment but will focus on the strengths and experience of the successful candidate as well as providing breadth for further professional development.

As a Maths specialist you will be passionate about your subject and the part it plays in the curriculum experience for students. Because you are an excellent teacher, you will know how to inspire those around you to achieve their very best. Our new colleague will have an unstinting belief that every young person, whatever their starting point or circumstances, can make and sustain exceptional progress and that our purpose is to change lives.
