Positioned within the commercial team, you will be right in the centre of a fast-paced team, working hand in hand with the buying team, building strong relationships with our biggest suppliers and working closely with all other functions across the Currys business to help build, plan, and execute the customer and commercial strategy and develop our business for future growth.
Role overview:
As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Coordinatingresponses to marketing briefs across the category in appropriate templates including TV deals, home page nominations, deal lists, CRM, and overarching promotions.
- Supportingthe squad in landing initiatives, including new product launches, new merchandising solutions and changes to the customer journey - online and in-store, and liaising with relevant supporting departments to deliver right first time.
- Supportingthe Senior GTM/GTM Manager in developing marketing plans for suppliers and executes them working with relevant marketing channels.
- Collectingproof of executions and providingmetrics for marketing activities.
- Bringing appropriate analytics and insight from the online and customer team to support decision making related to day-to-day trading, events and promotions and range changes to ensure the category are making relevant data driven decisions and plans.
- Supportingthe Senior GTM/GTM Manager to create the blueprint for the annual category strategy, helping define the guide rails for: customer shopping journey, category proposition and the 'go to market' plan.
You will need:
- Excellent planning, organisational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Good numerical and analytical skills to review data and provide recommendations/actions plans to drive sales and profit
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, capable of working cross-functionally to achieve the desired results
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of customer needs
- Good working knowledge of SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint as well as MS Office workflow tools
- Experience of working to deadlines
- Marketing / Merchandising / Retail experience
