Assistant Finance Manager (part-time 22.5 hours per week) for an integrated marketing agency for global b2b tech brands!

Location:

Work wherever works best for you. We offer a fully remote/hybrid work model, meaning you have complete flexibility to work from home or in one of our vibrant offices in London and Leeds.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to oversee the financial health of the organisation, with a particular focus on our US operations.

This role will be responsible for supporting the implementation of financial strategies, optimising financial performance, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. It will be part of a busy and high-performing team that provides an efficient and effective service to all stakeholders of the business, always embodying the Fox values.

  • You have a professional accounting qualification or working towards (ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA, MAAT)
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in finance roles.
  • Proven expertise in profit and loss management.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Excel for enhanced data analysis.
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and Financial Reporting
  • Understanding of financial controls and processes
  • Ideally you'll have experience in using Xero and a CRM platform

The Role:

  • Provide data analysis and actionable recommendations to support decision-making
  • Support with identifying trends, opportunities, and potential risks using data-driven insights and financial data
  • You will be responsible for providing day-to-day finance & administrative support to the Fox US Office, taking a lead on their financial activities.
  • You will play a key role in ensuring processes are complied with and best-practice accounting is undertaken at all times.
  • You will be responsible for raising and issuing sales invoices to clients.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining Accounts Receivables - Credit Control and Accounts Payables - Supplier invoice processing.
  • Assisting with budget preparation and overhead analysis.
  • Expenses management - track and reconcile bank statements, chasing receipts, admin for Revolut, and monthly reconciliations.
  • Process Employee expenses.
  • Supporting month-end processes and MI preparation.
  • Create cost analysis reports (fixed and variable costs).
  • Provide administration and support to the client service team on CRM (Scoro).
  • Keep track on and review the maintenance of the Project Tracker.
  • Support monthly payroll and keep organized records.
  • Provide administrative support during budget preparation.
  • Participate in quarterly forecasting and annual budgets preparation.
