- Salary:£88,225 - £105,726 per annum (pro rata for part time)
- Hours:37 hours per week, flexible working options available. Weekend on-call rota participation required
- Contract:Permanent
We are seeking a strategic, values-driven leader to join our Children and Young People's Services as Assistant Director for Quality Assurance, Performance and Commissioning. This is a pivotal role in ensuring that our services are not only effective and efficient but also continuously improving and delivering the best possible outcomes for children and families across Suffolk.
Your role and responsibilities
As a key member of the CYP Leadership Team, you will:
- Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance frameworks and performance strategies
- Oversee commissioning and decommissioning of services to ensure value for money and high standards
- Provide strategic leadership across diverse teams and partnerships
- Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities and national performance standards
- Champion innovation, co-production, and evidence-based practice
- Support the Director and Cabinet Members with strategic planning, governance, and emergency planning
This role is central to driving a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across all CYP services.
