Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading various debt and capital advisory assignments and preparing the analysis, client materials and reporting involved.
  • Proactively managing transaction teams and understanding clients' expectations.
  • Assisting partners with business development (including, but not limited to, marketing to potential clients, intermediaries and other third parties, preparing and presenting proposals for new business ).
  • Alongside senior team members, leading transaction related outreach to potential lenders, managing the information flow between client and lenders, negotiating the offers of finance received and sitting alongside the client and its legal advisers through to the execution of documentation.
  • Monitoring the performance and workload of the team.
  • Networking internally and externally to identify new opportunities.

This exciting role will provide exposure to a wide variety of debt and capital advisory work, clients and sectors, which will be highly rewarding to an individual who enjoys working on diverse projects, client exposure and working as part of a high growth team.

Qualifications

Key Skills and Experience

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • A relevant professional qualification (such as being a chartered accountant) is desirable, although not essential.
  • Experience of advising clients on debt and capital transactions with transaction experience across a range of sectors.
  • Up-to-date working knowledge of debt and capital markets products.
  • Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills - in the creation of our transaction models and in preparing relevant information for lenders, a high competency in these formats is important.
  • Demonstrable experience in business development, with a proven track record of winning new clients and developing commercial relationships.
  • Strong track record of managing and developing junior team members enabling them to meet their full potential.
