This is a senior role within our team to drive the growth of the asset management and capital portfolio services and team. It requires an experienced professional covering business development, engagement delivery, team leadership and the continued development of our services to be leading edge.
We bring a combination of sector specific insights and benchmarks to support our clients. As such, your role will involve work across multiple sectors including rail, roads, aviation, nuclear and telecoms. You will also have the opportunity to deliver real-estate focused projects should this be of interest.

We are currently looking for an experienced Asset Management consultant to join our growing Asset Management in Infrastructure practice as an Assistant Director. Within our team you will have the opportunity to:
- Work with asset intensive organisations in multiple sectors to advise and support the development of their Asset Investment & Management strategies and plans. This would include defining, developing or assuring asset management frameworks, investment prioritisation strategy, adoption of a market-led approach to asset investment and delivery planning.
- Advise and support clients in critically assessing their network and asset level to inform resilience/maintenance/investments decision-making. This would include the identification of external and internal risks, shocks and longer-term stresses and running scenario planning to understand the level of impact to network services and key investments and mitigations to drive improvement.
- Advise clients on suitable target operating model to support a high performing asset-led organisation and delivery of TOTEX outcome commitments. This would typically include end-to-end asset value chain operating model design and deployment, asset management maturity and capability assessments and design of transformations, delivery & commercial models design and deployment.
- Advise clients on addressing capital delivery and operational efficiency challenges, including support in identification, assessment and implementation of realisable cost efficiency initiatives across capital delivery, operation and maintenance functions.
- Advise and support clients in defining asset data requirements, governance and standards along with the system architecture to improve asset performance, investment planning and decision-making. This includes strategy development, procurement and client-side oversight of system deployment.

Connect to your skills and professional experience
Essential:
- Broad and deep experience of Asset Management across different sectors particularly in Transport, Nuclear, Energy and Utility, and covering the broad range of Asset Management capabilities
- Experience deploying consulting, advisory or assurance type engagements and preferably experience working within or alongside Big 4 or Strategy Houses
- A relevant degree (i.e. engineering) and/or a relevant post graduate qualification
- A relevant professional qualification e.g. CEng, MICE, MRICS, ChPP or equivalent related industry experience that shows understanding of an asset intensive organisation
- Good understanding of financial, business and asset drivers that relate to Asset Management organisations.
- Strong commercial acumen and market awareness
- The ability to build strong, effective client and working relationships
- Strong team leadership skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an ability to present complex subjects in an engaging and simple manner
- The ability to travel as required

Infrastructure and Real Estate
Our Infrastructure and Real Estate team supports both public and private sector clients on complex infrastructure, real estate, and capital projects. Typical engagements include urban regeneration, transport, energy and renewables, and occupier advisory to central government and large corporate companies.

We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
